Acupuncture Cupping Tai Chi and Traditional Chinese Medicine
In 1998 Adam graduated from Westminster University after 3 years study with a degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture.
Since 1998 he has completed a number of post graduate courses with the likes of Zita West, Jani White, Ilkay Chirali, Amos Ziv,
T J Wang, Dr Stephen Gascoigne, Michael Dooley, David Mayor, Giovanni Maciocia, Tony Brewer and more. These courses covered a variety of topics including scalp and ear acupuncture, cupping, fertility, gynaecological conditions, obstetrics (treating during and after pregnancy), Meridian Wave treatment (excellent for pain relief), electro-acupuncture, muscular-skeletal pain, TCM diagnosis and how the interaction of pharmaceutical drugs may affect TCM diagnosis.
He has over 30 years experience with Tai Chi Ch'uan and Chi Kung (passive martial arts) and in keeping with traditional chinese practice may include certain exercises or breathing techniques to aid recovery. Treatment may also incorporate TCM dietary advice, therapeutic massage (utilising Chinese meridian theory and contemporary teachings), cupping, moxibustion and electro-acupuncture.

Adam has a variety of interests that include treating muscular skeletal pain from sciatica, frozen shoulder and disc issues, gynaecological problems, fertility issues, obstetrics such as labour induction, breech presentation and managing morning sickness. Additionally, patients present with a wide range of complaints including insomnia, stress, migraines, asthma, IBS, ME, Parkinsons, Bells Palsy. Long Covid and much more. Over the last few years Adam has been seeing more teenagers [and younger] in clinic for a variety of issues and has had referrals from a pediatrician with teenagers diagnosed with IBS. These younger patients have benefited from a reduction or cessation in their symptoms. Adam's treatment is covered by a variety of private medical insurance companies including WPA, Aviva, Simply Health, Pru Health and AXA PPP. If you want to try and claim your treatment cost back from your health insurer please do discuss this with Adam prior to your first appointment.

Maurice is a State Registered Chiropodist/Podiatrist with considerable experience in both NHS and Private Practice chiropody treatment. After graduating from the University of Westminster in 1996 Maurice worked for Camden and Islington Health Authority, gaining a wide range of knowledge in a challenging inner city environment. He used this experience to later enter into private practice in the Barnet area where he has practised since 1998.
